Murray has beed fitted with a prosthetic hand and leg after the tragic accident and with his hard work, determination and positive outlook Murray will continue to move on with his life. He is looking forward to getting back in the water later this month, and seeing everyone on their next visit to South West Rocks. It only took a week out of hospital for Murray to take back over the workshop.. anyone who knows him would expect no less.
A benifit night for Murray's recovery will be held at the South West Rocks Country Club from 6.30 pm on the 17th of April. The benefit night has two main purposes, for the community to rally together in support of the family and Murray himself, with the added benefit of contributing some much needed funds. We will be holding an Auction on the night, so any donated goods (including gift vouchers) will be a great help. Alternately, we have a bank account at the National Australia Bank BSB 082 781 a/c 168 204 808. The account name is “Calm Waters, a benefit fund for Murray Amor”. Tickets can be purchased at South West Rocks Country Club for $40 (includes a finger food dinner). You can contact the club now on 02 65 666252 to reserve your ticket. Why not book a whole table for your family, friends or staff? For further details and or information please email
